I'm the petitioner that filled out the affidavit of support, I have a state job that more then enough qualifies to support my wife. She's getting the GC. The question is... when the uscis officer asks if there is any change in our case... my wife just got a job ay Mcdonald's after receiving her EAD card. Since her income won't factor at all in our affidavit of support does she need proof that she works there? I mean why we lie about working at Mcdonald's lol. She has a letter welcoming her without her name, but the manager filled out his name, store, phone number and ect.. is that enough? She won't even get her first paycheck by the interview, she's still in training. Do we need a letter from her boss? Ugh..

No. Her income is not included on the I-864. It does not matter, and there is no reason to bring proof she just accepted a job.
