Fiancee in St Petersburg needs help with forms

Anyone have any ideas on how to save the DS-230 form so I can email it? It appears to be locked or perhaps Acrobat is getting in the way somehow and preventing me from saving it. Or maybe it's just because I have a Mac perhaps?

It seems to be secured and Adobe won't let you save it filled in for some weird reason. It looks like you could upload it to their EchoSign service in the latest version of Adobe Reader (and that should keep the filled in form, but I didn't try it - you can create a free EchoSign account and upload 5 forms there for free and see if it works).

On the Mac, if you open it in Preview, you can fill it in and it will save the filled in form, but you can only see the filled in form if you open it in Preview again. Opening it in Adobe Reader gets rid of all the filled in stuff. If your fiance has Windows, so no Preview app, then she won't be able to see the filled in stuff.

I don't know if there is a way to get rid of the secured ####### on this form to allow Adobe to save the form. I don't know why they created the form using this ####### either (pretty much all their other forms work normally and allow you to save).

Ok, I downloaded their form DS-230 PDF, downloaded the trial version of Acrobat Pro, opened the PDF and resaved it with enabling form saving for reader. I didn't change any content or anything else except the permissions, so once you fill it out and print it, it should be indistinguishable from the original version.
