I have been in AP for 7 months and last month the embassy staff visited my home.last week I got a call from the embassy asking me to report to the embassy any time btw monday to thursday with my medicals and police certficate and my international passport.pls I want to know if my visa has been approved?has anybody been told the same?and wats d outcome?

Sounds like an approval. Hope u will be there real soon don't delay hurry and get that medical and police report. Congratulations.

Being that you were in AP and as long as it has taken, they obviously had some concerns or your name was a match or close match with someone else on their list!

However, no one can be 100% certain that you are approved until the day of your interview and even then only the consular official can tell you for sure!

My advice is to do as they requested you to do and as quick as you can so that you can get this part finally done with!

Sounds like they want you to drop off your passport for visa insertion!!! Those were the directions they gave us when it was time for my boys to do so. Monday - Thursday at 1 pm.

HUSBAND'S CASE

9/17/2011 - sent I-13

09/19/2011 - noa1 received

3/16/2012 - case sent to my local USCIS office for additional processing

4/21/2012 - AP. If we haven't heard from them in SIX MONTHS (omg) we can feel free to call them!!! Thanks!

9/20/2012 - Interview scheduled - October 3!!!!

10/3/2012 - Interview went well but she must look at his A-file more before decision.

10/12/2012 - I-130 APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

Once you submit the medical and police certificate, there are chances you will be approved. You used the term ( Embassy staff) I think they were the investigators. it happened to my case they showed up at my wife's house and interviewed her more than thirty minutes. It was about 10 days ago and we are still waiting to hear from them. Did they interview you and what are the exact days before they call you? Good luck to you

Finally, it is here. Good luck to you and have a safe journy to The United State of America. I am still waiting to hear from them. They came to visit my home on 5/21/2013 and wish me luck.

He said he was not home they came to his home. My case is almost the same. They came to my wife home town, they asked the neighbors regarding my wife and I. They looked everywhere in the house. They asked my mother-law where does my wife sleep. They asked my wife the questions were the same questioned were asked at the embassy.

Where do you go to school every day? Does mother-law in the united states still living? How ofter your busband come to visit and how long the visit? Do you and your husband chat online? How do you contact your husband and when? what does your husband do? he works day or night? What state and city your husband live? Can your give us your husband telephone number? Do you love your husband? Does your husband have children on his own? Can we see your wedding photos? they asked for my telephone numbers. they stated that you would be happy if we approve visa soon! there were more questions but I could not recall at this moment. They were at my wife house about 40 minutes.
