We would like to know if anyone has experience visiting Colombia with the new( Work/Advanced Parole Combo Card) do the airlines and the Colombian Government know this Card. And what can we do to make sure there is no problem coming back from Colombia. She has AOS pending.

The best thing to do is call the airlines you are going to use for your flight and ask them. They are the ones that will either allow her to board the airplane or not. It is their employees that need to know the rules. My wife and I are travelling with her expired GC and extension letter. I checked with KLM and they accept this. The US CBP has all the information on the computer when they scan her combo card and the Colombian government only cares whether she has a Colombian passport or a forgien passport with the proper documents to enter. It will be the airline that determines her fate of being allowed to board or not.

Call the airlines.

Good luck,

Dave

~ Moving from K-1 Process to Working & Traveling During US Immigration> post is about traveling with EAD/AP card ~

I find it odd that some airlines are having a problem with this card still. It is not really new. They have been issuing the EAD/AP cards for over 2 years now, since Feb. 2011.

I agree with what was already stated, call the airline you are using and make sure the employees in Colombia are familiar with the card.
