I tried to read beyond the lines and what I keep getting is that most of these American males who are enamored of the popular concept of a Filipina are simply humans who feel emasculated by the independence and assertive standards of some American women that they've encountered.

I considered writing a point-by-point post to answer his but then I remembered that I'm a Pinay and I'm not known to be a person who uses her brains much. My husband married me because I'm a Filipina as described by Steve. I have to play my part. I'll just go now, run the Dyson vacuum around the house, make dinner, and then be prepared to step out of my clothes when my husband arrives.

Oh come on, you know you want to tear them down. :P

I am waiting for my UGGS comment to bear fruit. The wife actually asked my sister-in-law for a pair when she first got here, so my post was more tongue in cheek, or trolling. One of the two.
