uploading your way is still better. it embeds the image into the post like you see in teddy's post. the attachment thing attaches a thumbnail which you have to click on to view the object. its an extra click and no one wants to do an extra click.

I am not sure if you aware, if you want to upload an image from the internet you just copy the URL and paste into the Image button..

i dislike using VJ for storage of photos - I prefer to use the img tags instead, even if that means i upload one of my personal photos to tinypic or some other site.

When I need to post something immigration related - it's usually a form in pdf format, and USUALLY I will utilize the file storage feature so that folk can click and view/dl it.

Photos, IMO, shouldn't really be stored here at VJ. Sure, there's a gallery section, but that's for different stuff, aye?
