My parents are here in ten days. It's almost like going home, just without the Tim Horton's.

I never had Tim Horton's coffee until I met my wife, I crave it now. It's a Canadian wonder. For those who have never had it, they can't understand. It's the best coffee bar none. The Tim Horton's in the states is not the same as in Canada either.

If you were a real Canadian, you would have called it Timmy's

I was going to, but then I thought other people wouldn't know what I was talking about.

I've used the word "timbits" a few times here, and it's never gone over well.

Is the computer on?

Oh damn!

There used to be an option to upload a photo to a post from your computer on the old VJ format, but I don't see it on the new format. The only photo option I can find is to attach one via a link from the internet. And yes, I am technology challenged.

Little help please peeps. How do I post a photo on VJ from a folder on my pc?

You have to upload the photo to an image sharing website. I suggest imgur.com. It's super easy.

Then you just come back and post it like you would any other picture, using the i.imgur link.

http://imgur.com/

Go there. Then go to "computer" on the right hand side. Select the photo. Click "start upload"

It'll give you a link to the photo when you're done. smile.png

uploading your way is still better. it embeds the image into the post like you see in teddy's post. the attachment thing attaches a thumbnail which you have to click on to view the object. its an extra click and no one wants to do an extra click.
