Where is everyone? Am I the only sucker stuck at work today?

I'm at work, but there sure isn't any work going on. It's dead here the last two weeks. These holidays in the middle of the week screw everything up. On a good note, I've never had an easier commute.

I guess the 50's make you feel dead.

For some reason, the 40's brought out all of my aches and pains and made me feel old. I just turned 50 last month and I'm still breathing.smile.png

Apparently so. tongue.png

Work? What the hell is that? kicking.gif

Work is one of two things:

1. A nasty four-letter word that needs to be eradicated from everyday speech, or;

2. A recognised contaminant, leading to a treatable medical condition. (i.e. "Work makes me sick")

Either way, it is something to be avoided at all costs. ;)

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

:yes: There are five people in my office today, myself included. So quiet.

Do you keep him in a crate when you're not home?

Yes, we do. And he sleeps in there at night as well. Crate training is the best thing you can do for a puppy, IMO. And luckily, he loves being in it.

We will likely give him free reign of the house when he's older and we trust him more.

I agree about the crate training. When I was crate training my dogs, they loved the crate too. It was their own little safe place to go. I never put them in the crate as a punishment. I always left the door of it open and toys inside. I found a lot of the times they would just go in there whenever they felt like it. 6 months after the dog was in the house was when I would remove the crate, seemed to work really well. I had very little problems with accidents. The dogs usually missed the crate big time at first.

He will likely outgrow his crate by the time he's six months so I'm hoping we can take it away by then.

Yup, I had two different crates, depending on how old the dog was when I got it
