That's true

The B in RUB is Belarus right?

Yes. There was a guy in the RUB forum whose wife was from Georgia, and wanted to make it GRUB. The guys were all like "STOP TRYING TO MAKE GRUB HAPPEN!"

It's definitely a shtick, I'm wondering where it comes from and why he does it. It doesn't seem to come naturally when he is communicating normally, so I'm curious as to why some posts are overloaded with "si man, gee man" stuff.

Your signature contains none of it. When you are posting "on behalf of VJ Moderation", there is none of it.

I'm curious as to why your other general posts have so much of it. What's the deal? Where'd a guy in Texas get that from?

In happier news, I want a hippopotamus for Christmas. Only a hippopotamus will do. Mrs. T-B. is not squealing about her plans, so we may have to buy it ourselves. [in hopeful tone] We take PayPal, $i man.

I'm not sure why T-Bone, but your mention of wanting a hippo made me think of this old tv show.

That's all fine and well, but is either of you gonna help with the hippopotamus purchase (or procurement, if bartering is involved)? I'll log on again tonight, in great hope of positive news, c u man.

Who's go two thumbs and has been forgetting to do her timesheets for the past two weeks, and now has to spend the afternoon trying to recreate what she's been doing for the past fortnight by combing through emails and calendars?

I'm a dunce.

Burger flippers don't have to use email. Therefore, email is something people with fake jobs that post on VJ all day have.

True dat. I'm trying to piece together how much work I've done recently for a client because the other side is going to settle. biggrin.png I love settlement. Trial sux. Actually, we had a day in law school that was basically: avoid trial at all costs. Expensive, time-consuming, headache-inducing and you might f^ck it up even if the case is strong.
