The 99 restaurant in Mansfield is good. We ate there when we went to the Eagles concert.

I've eaten at that one a few times. The 99 isn't bad for a chain. I think it is much better than Applebee's. I know I'm going to end up going shopping at Natick Mall tonight or tomorrow night, so we'll probably hit up one of the Brazilian places in Framingham.

I like the 99. It is really good for a chain. There's a bunch of them up here. We got one of those brazilian bbq places here, it's not bad.

Never been to the Natick Mall. I dated a chick from Framingham once, I hated that drive out the Mass Pike.

Which one Harpa?

When I was younger in the early 80's we would go into Boston to party on the weekends. After all the bars closed at 2am we would make our way over to Chinatown to a restaurant that served beer after hours. When you ordered it, you asked for "Iced Tea". They would bring the beer over in one of the tea pitchers. The place was open til 4am. We used to leave there stumbling drunk.

Oh, I don't know the name of it. It's on the main chinatown street towards the end opposite the park and has aquariums with fish in the window and black marble outside. When you walk everywhere you forget the names of roads and stuff.

I didn't realize you were from Mass.

Yes, Go Sox!

I'm not, I just used to live there, during my undergrad and master's. Might move back sometime; I would like a victorian house in Brookline. I was there when the Sox won the world series and "broke the curse," and I got a random call from someone in California, and they said "Do you live in Boston? I am in a bar in CA and we are celebrating the Red Sox winning so I just dialed a Boston number!" Then she shouted to the bar "Hey guys, I've got someone in Boston on the phone!" and held up the phone (I imagine) the bar cheered. It was fun.

Do you live in Boston?

A salesman goes to Boston for the first time. He claims his luggage and goes out front to hail a taxi. The taxi screeches up; the driver opens the door and says "Where to, pal?"

The salesman thinks for a moment. "Hmmm; this is my first time in Boston," he says. "Take me to a good place to get Scrod."

"Y'know, pal," says the driver. "I've heard that request put in several languages, in many dialects, and in all kinds of ways, but this is the very first that I've ever heard it stated in the pluperfect subjunctive."
