What carrier is best to use when sending a package to USCIS?

Helo everyone,

I'm about to send my I-751 package and I was wondering what is the best carrier to use?

Can I use Fedex?

Yes, you can use any carrier you like FEDEX or UPS or USPS. Make sure you can track your package.

I mailed mine this past Friday via USPS with Signature Confirmation and VSC just received it about 25 mins ago.

06-07-13 (Day 0) Mailed I-751 to VSC, filed 23 days after window

06-10-13 (Day 3) VSC received package (according to USPS Signature Confirmation)

06-14-13 (Day 7) Check cashed

06-15-13 (Day 8) NOA received; dated 6-11-13

06-20-13 (Day 13) Received Biometrics

07-15-13 (Day 25) Biometrics appointment

08-22-13 (Day 62) File transferred from VSC to CSC

09-05-13 (Day 76) Touched

Ok, thanks. I'm not sure if FEDEX delivers to PO box-es and i didn't know you can actually send with "signature confirmation" :D

You mean someone actually signed to confirm they received your package?

Did you use one of those big USPS envelopes?

You mean someone actually signed to confirm they received your package? Yes.

Did you use one of those big USPS envelopes? I tried to use a cardboard flat rate but it wouldn't close because the packet I was sending was thick so I just put the flat rate envelope inside those USPS Priority Mail white soft envelopes.

Ok, I ended up using USPS because I had an "issue" with Fedex a couple of years ago. :D

Also, USPS is closer :P

I've used USPS Express Mail, Signature requested. Sent my application yesterday at 4.00pm and it was received by USCIS today, at 12.34 pm.

Impressive!

Let the waiting begin.....

USPS works just fine. Priority mail would be perfect especially if you are not pressed for time and it arrives there just as fast as Express mail (and is slightly cheaper!) Make sure you get tracking (delivery or signature confirmation)

12/4/10 - Married
03/9/11 - AOS package sent via USPS
03/10/11 - AOS package received by USCIS
03/14/11 - Email and Text notification received from USCIS
03/14/11 - Checks cashed by USCIS (got notification from bank on 03/15/11)
03/18/11 - NOA1 received in the mail (all four of them)
03/26/11 - Biometrics received for 04/20 (postmarked 03/23)
04/20/11 - Biometrics done today!
05/09/11 - Got my EAD in the mail today!!!
05/16/11 - Interview letter received for 06/20!!!
06/20/11 - Interview done, APPROVED! 2 year Green Card!

4/27/13 - I-751 Package for ROC mailed

4/29/13 - I-751 Package delivered by USPS to VSC

5/12/13 - NOA in the mail (dated 4/30/13)

Thanks :D . I already sent my application on Wednesday with USPS Express mail. It was received by USCIS Vermont Center on Thursday,at 12.34pm. Less than 24 h...

I also have the proof from USPS with the name of the person who signed for my envelope.
