This is insane and wrong! I bet you anything the only reason why some petitions from feb and March are approved is because Vermont is under pressure to remain in that 5 month processing time. They probably approve a few new petitions to even out their averages... its not fair.. I had a co-worker today who has gone through the K3 spousal visa herself tell me that they go through petitions in alphabetical order??? No idea if that's true or not.. but how insane would it be if it were? Whatever their system is for approving petitions its messed up and def unfair! I hope all you NOV/DEC/JAN filers get approvals soon! :)

I agree. November 1, 2012, filed and still waiting. I've contacted everyone there is to contact, but I'll be calling USCIS again tomorrow. Pointless, but it makes me feel like I'm doing something...

Guys keep calling. Keep asking for answers. I know they brush us off but if we all call and write to our senators and congressmen and women someone will get an answer. I've even started a petition. It's a long shot because you need 100,000 but share it on your facebook and twitter. Whatever you can to get answers!

Hey there:

I feel so down and frustrated at this point [early December filer so go figure]. No one gives any answers, time frames, I don't want to go home on vacation to see my fiance because I was trying to coordinate the dates so I can go to the interview. It would be $2000 to go twice. I miss him and we anticipated 6 months it's now almost 7 and we are both miserable and frustrated w/o each other especially when you've been amped up all year long. Hang in there friends...just needed to vent!!!crying.gif

Wow thats gotta be frustrating.. Just make sure ur checking the website daily cus u never know at this point..my prayers for an approval soon are with u & all others who have been waiting too long. Keep us in the loop :)

The only thing I received from Vermont yesterday was an email telling me they received my response for the RFE's and that its being processed. They will notify me with a decision within 60days... my journey continues...

RFE's can actually be a good thing.. Most people after getting an RFE are approved shortly there after.. Keep checking the website daily.. Dont expect an email/text cus they don't always send those.. Keep ur head up.. Hang in there I believe u'll be approved soon :)

Wake up - check

Grab phone for email or text updates only to find none - check

Go to status update on USCIS website to see no movement - check

Futile attempt at an e-request because it's blocked for being "inside normal processing time" - check

Discourteous phone response from acerbic and jaded USCIS customer representative - check

Thanks for another fine Tuesday, VSC (our 31st, in fact). OK, off to the gym ...
