We're going to Canada for Christmas too. My husband hasn't been to Canada since he came to the U.S. in August 2004.

I'm excited, but it's going to be cold.

we are going to canada for christmas as well!

i am so excited!

every year we alternate back and forth, and this year is canada's turn.

we are driving to winnipeg on the 22nd and then coming back to the USA on the 27th.

Nope, haven't been back to Canada for Christmas for years. My wifies and I have never gone to Canada or to Georgia (where her folks live) for Christmas together. Not by lack of trying, it's just hard with her work schedual every year, so once again it'll be just us two as it has for the past 3 years...

1998-2001

Recieved 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th TN

2002

May - Met future wife at arts fest

Nov - Recieved 6th TN

2003

Nov - Recieved 7th TN

Jul - Our Wedding

Aug - Filed for AOS

Sep - Recieved EAD

Sep - Recieved Advanced Parole

2004

Jan - Interview, accepted for Green Card

Feb - Green Card Arrived in mail

2005

Oct - I-751 sent off

2006

Jan - 10 year Green Card accepted

Mar - 10 year Green Card arrived

Oct - Filed N-400 for Naturalization

Nov - Biometrics done

Nov - Just recieved Naturalization Interview date for Jan.

2007

Jan - Naturalization Interview Completed

Since we went to Canada for 2 weeks at the end of June/beginning of July, we won't be going to Canada for Xmas BUT my 2 oldest kids (Fawn, almost 24 and Justin, 18) will be getting here on December 26th and staying till Jan 3! :dance:

Annnnnnnd...despite the fact that I've only been an employee at the inn for a total of 6 months (worked there from beginning of March to the end of June, left for the summer and been back since Sept. now) my boss gave me all the time off that my 2 oldest kids are here! :luv:

Alli and I are psyched! Even debating on whether or not we should celebrate our Xmas day a day later when Fawn and Jus can get here.... :hehe:

Or half and half or something. :lol:
