What does this message mean?

Firstly, I am getting very frustrated with NVC. I think it is because I was under the impression that this will be the easy and fastest step.

Anyways, so I have my case number and my husband emailed the ds-3032 the same day (May 30). I called them Friday, June 7 (6 business days later) because they emailed me the AOS and asking for the $88 and the ds-3032, but when I went online it would give me an error. The representative told me it was because they had not generated the ds-3032 yet, which I made since to me so I left it at that.

Today, (June 9) I went online again (I knew probably nothing would have changed but i was just curious) and it gave me this error:

This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.

Process of termination?? Can someone please explain this to me before I go insane Obviously I am going to call them tomorrow but not until after work, so I was hoping someone could shed some light before that.

Also, does anyone know how long it takes for them to generate the ds-3032? I thought it would take no more than 3-4 days? I'm going at 7 business days now

Hey..ppl read dis msg 106 times but strange no reply yet ....uggg I'm also stuck at Nvc....ur lucky at least u hav case number...I'm waiting from last 73 days :( ....insha allah u will know it soon...don't worry

They invoiced the bill this morning, so I don't know what that was all about

When you get that error, it means fee is getting processed. Termination error was due to website update.

Did you get your IV fee invoice? or only AOS?

I got AOS but still waiting for IV..

I just got the AOS bill. I assume ill get the I'VE bill in 3-4 days. How long have you been waiting?

We emailed mine on 05/30/13.. We just sent another one today with supervisor attention.. So hopefully it will be approved soon!

Last week I was able to logon the site to see if my AOS and IV fees were invoiced -- after the system upgrade this weekend, i too got the "Case being terminated" message. Upon calling them this morning, they were very snotty and didnt want to provide any assistance whatsoever. they basically told me i shouldnt do anything until they mail everything out...

I've had a "Pay" link next to the IV fee in the IV portal since Friday morning. When I click it, it goes to the payment portal which shows no available IV fees to pay. At least my AoS finally switched to Paid last week and I submitted the AoS package!

The NVC number is busy this morning, so I can't ask anyone.

BTW, they said it takes 24 hours for AoS to go from invoiced to payable, which is what happened with mine... I hoped it would be the same for IV fees.

You have to ignore the snotty ones, it seems to be 50/50 whether they'll try to be helpful or just dismissive and say "wait 20 business days" for every single thing.

Ya ..finaly ppl replied lol....I don't know wats taking long..I'm just waiting...frustrated..today is my wedding anniversary..it's painful dat I'm alone n waiting for my visa...pray for me :(

Yea it just depends on your luck when you call lol. Some genuinely want to help and some just follow the script like a zombie.

Everything seems to happen late for me so since your bill became in 24 hours mine will take 48 hours

Well make some calls and find out what's going on!!

Sorry it must feel so bad we haven't had our first anniversary yet but I really hope we are together on it :/

When you run into an operator like that just be polite and say goodbye. Then call back immediately and just talk to another representative. It is very unlikely that you will get the same person. If you get someone with an attiude just politely hang up and call back. Most of the workers there are very nice. Aloha Ke Akua
