I would not go by the estimated timeline because things are taking little longer these days. Cases are getting transferred to Local offices and then it is all up to your local offices and how fast they are moving. Good Luck

yup - you've pegged yerself, in yer timeline, as a DCF casefile type.

Shift that to a Regular I-130 petition, and you'll start showing up in the MSC Stats.

Shift that to a Regular I-130 petition, and you'll start showing up in the MSC Stats.

It must be because I selected IR-1/CR-1 Visa Filed by US Citizen Petitioner Living Abroad because as soon as I just changed that I showed up on the list. I did file from abroad though, so that's confusing!

Mine went to NBC and was received January 22, 2013. It was approved May 10th for NOA2. However, it is taking them FOREVER to get it to the NVC....still not there. ranting33va.gif

I filed Dec 4 2012 and approved Feb 7 2013. Mine went to the NBC and never went to my local office.


USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

NVC - 119 days NVC to Visa in hand
03/11/2013: NVC received (31 days from NOA2 at USCIS till received at NVC )

Mine went to NBC and was received January 22, 2013. It was approved May 10th for NOA2. However, it is taking them FOREVER to get it to the NVC....still not there. ranting33va.gif

If I were you, I'd be calling everyday. I just posted someones timeline with their approval and the NVC received their papers really fast. Call and bug them...

I do call everyday....Now all they tell me is to send them a scan of my approval letter, which I plan to do tomorrow....I don't think that is going to resolve much, but I will continue to call and bug them as much as possible...lol.

send the approval letter and bug them. If bugging them makes them look for your file then so be it !!! you paid to have your papers processed. You have a right to have them processed. BUG BUG BUG THEM. I think its ridiculous how we all have to wait so long... Another reason the immigration reform is making me angry.... giving 33 million illegals immediate work permits so they can stay here and work is just a slap in the face to all of us who are following the laws that the immigration dept laid out. The illegals broke the laws in so many ways and they get rewarded. HA HA maybe mention that when you call looking for your file... or better yet, call your local congressman. they can get information faster. Put a fire under them ! !!!

did you get a notice that your file was transferred?

I called USCIS some time back and they said my file is in Washington DC field office but I did not get any notice about the transfer.

Last month I had an Infopass interview at Washington DC field office (Fairfax, VA), the officer went inside with all my details and after 10 mins she came out and told me that yes your file is here in Washington DC field office (Can it be true?) and no immigration officer assigned to it. Then she said - "I don’t know when an immigration office will be assigned and I know it’s frustrating, but please have patience and wait".

Any one has any idea – what did she check inside? Did she talk to someone?

I have scheduled one more interview for coming Friday, but not sure what else I can ask other than asking whats going on with my file.

Please let me know what else I can ask the immigration officer?

(My I130 is still pending for 8 months now)
