OK SO DO YOU NEED THE CENOMAR FOR INTERVIEW?

What about Police Clearance? We have the NBI, but I've been told to bring Police clearance too.

But on the interview letter it said police certificate?..

Help please thank you:)

For K1 CENOMAR is needed but since you are on IR-1/CR1 you should have your marriage certificate

Police certificate/clearance is especially needed if you worked outside of the Philippines. However, some just get them even they have not worked outside of PI.

For IR-1/CR-1 the form needed instead of the CENOMAR is "CRS Form No. 5 - Advisory on Marriages" which most refer to as CEMAR from NSO.

I have attached a sample copy of a "CRS Form No. 5 - Asvisory on Marriages" below.

This is correct.

In order to obtain the CEMAR (Advisory on Marriages), you will fill out an application for CENOMAR (Yes, you read it right!). Since we are already married, NSO will give us the CEMAR.

Thanks but for cr1 cenomar is needed they said also. Just in case right

CeNoMar ( certificate of No Marriage) is required only if u apply for K1 visa to show u are free to marry but since u applied for CR1 ( spouse visa) u need to show them ur Marriage Certificate (authenticated from NSO).you are already married so no need to get cenomar :-))))

Hope that helps.

Hi Momanuel, I am CR1 beneficiary. One of the requirement I submitted to NVC was Cenomar. I asked NSO how to get Marriage Indices and they told me to just fill-out the cenomar form and that's it. It will show previous marriages. It takes 7 days. With regards to Police certificate, you need to get a new one if it expires before interview.

My husband applied for cenomar in may but he didn't pick it up yet at nso branch. Do you think the file is still there if he were to pick it up?
