Hi all

Some member is asking if there are updates about VSC and TSC, so I spent some time and came up with the update for three service centers, Hope it helps.

I also added the monthly approval data in the past 18 months of three centers.

I used the same unit volumn for all charts, some of them might look wierd, but I just wanted to make it comparable

Good luck to everyone!

As I stated in the other thread, a distinction needs to be made between the approvals of RFEs and the approvals without RFEs, as they are handled under different rules and time restrictions. All of the approvals in CSC this month of filers from last year have been RFEs and all of the approvals in CSC this month of filers from this year have been without RFEs, with a few exceptions.

Also, TSC has not adjuncted any K-1 applications yet. The ones on Igor's list are from VJers who have put down TSC in error, thinking they were processing them, where in actuality, they were transferred from the Dallas Lockbox to either CSC or VSC.

Well, keep an eye on it. TSC actually will be adunctating applications soon, as many from VSC files were transferred there. But some of those VSCers on here haven't changed their timelines accordingly.

It's a mess.

It is really hard to give people a very accurate and clear stat, however I am trying my best to collect data from the site and come up with something that at least can show a trend, thank you for the suggestion.

Agree, it is a mess...

Basically most adjunctors at CSC are currently on February files plus any returned RFEs that trickle in. A few are still stuck on January files and at least one is now on March files.

VSC seems to be on January now for the most part, but only because they shipped their remaining backlog of November-December-early January files to the newly trained TSC to handle.

That's pretty much what I've noticed as far as the current trend. CSC seems to have a handle on maintaining their 5 month processing goal, whereas VSC is struggling to keep up.

Yes it's true that 8000 cases were transferred from the vsc to tsc. They might start processing soon but are still in training mode and entering petitions in their system . This info came from my senators office in connecticut So I am curious how you will account for these??? Thank you for your hard work!

Thanks, I did count all the NOA2 for three service centers for the past 18 months, now what I am doing is to check VJ and update the new approvals from each center on a daily base.

Efforts come from everyone, if we keep our information updated from time to time, and others can have a trend to follow and look forward to.

VSC seems to be on January now for the most part, but only because they shipped their remaining backlog of November-December-early January files to the newly trained TSC to handle.

From what I see VSC seems to be on nothing now except for RFEs. There have been 2-3 approvals of late Jan that weren't transferred, but from watching Igor's lists for the past few days, it seems that VSC seems to have completely stopped processing non-RFE petitions except for the few late Nov that they have left. Otherwise there would be a lot more late Jan and Feb approvals. This is probably because there would be a huge outcry about them processing late Jan or even Feb petitions while all the Dec and early Jan petitions are stuck at TSC doing nothing, so they decided to do nothing while TSC gets their act together (hey they just removed 2 months of work in one swoop, so they can take a 2 month vacation!).

Thus you only see 2-3 approved petitions from VSC per day on here.

They probably switched all their adjudicators to process some other types of petitions that haven't been transferred.

Well, the CSC was processing ROC applications much faster than the VSC, but recently the VSC has been faster. They were taking 8 months to a year or longer and now 2 people that filed in Jan. have already been approved. It is quite possible they have switched over to approving different types.
