Hi, everyone I'm one of the i751 divorce waiver applicant, it's been a long time finally I got the reply for USCIS and schedule for an interview on 6/25/2013.

The following is my application time :

VJName...............Date of I-751......NOA1 Date......Biometrics

VIVIAN678............06/08/11...........06/13/11.......07/25/11

I applied in Vermont service center , but I moved to California febuary 2012, so I changed my address online , finally after two years waiting , I got my first mail from USCIS after biometrics , I'm very excited but also worried .

My question :

1, is it normal to wait that long for an interview , anyone else here have the same experience here ?

2, what kinda questions I should prepared for the interview ? I divorce for about 2 years now , be honest , if I got questioned some details about my ex-husband I might forgot already . Anything sepefic I need to prepared for ?

3,will I get a decision right after the interview just like the first interview of conditional permanent resident?

I'm very worried , since I been waiting for so long , after my conditional green card expired , even I got the i551 stamp on my passport I still worried that I didn't go out of country after that . I really hope this coming interview will go well ,so any reply will be appreciated .

Thx

Its pretty much the same questions as an AOS but you also explain the circumstances that led to the divorce. The idea is to check if you entered the marraige in good faith - just like everyone else its not to check if you are still madly in love.

All the best

Hi,

When did you let them know about your divorce?

Did you send them a letter and explaine why you got divorce?

When I filed my i751 , I sent the divorce decree together , yes I explained why I get divorced. I been reading a lot waiver cases online , I think my case is kinda last too long , other case much faster than mine , that's why I'm kinda worried
