August visa bulletin is current an it says current and will remain same for next few months.

quote

FAMILY-sponsored:

F2A: This category has become “Current” for August, and is expected to remain so for the next several months. This action has been taken in an effort to generate an increased level of demand. Despite the fact that there are large amounts of registered F2A demand, currently there are not enough applicants who are actively pursuing final action on their case to fully utilize all of the available numbers.

end of quote.

Truly saying, after meditating on situation I became really worried:(( They probably will draw back PD fo year or two in a few month, and if we're still not approved.... Oh, it's just speculations... who knows what'll happen

I hope not, that would be so bad. I think our NOA2's will come through. We just have to wait.

F2A is current for August!!! Have this ever happened before??? I'm so exited!

No, it hasn't happened before, not at least for the past ten years (see http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/Cut-off_Dates_worldwide_online.pdf). I have been waiting for four years (since we got engaged) to see this, and of course it has to happen a month after we are no longer in F2A category!

Congratulations to everyone who has a completed case! I keep my fingers crossed that you'll all get interviews for next month. Those of you who are still waiting for NOA2, keep calling USCIS to see if you can make a service request and make sure that you start preparing for the NVC now in order to be ready when the time comes and to be able to complete your case quickly before a cut-off date is set again.

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
24 April 2013: Interview
12 June 2013: Oath ceremony

Hello guys, so no interviews at all this moth yet? This is so strange, anyone has an idea of whats going on

In our group, only 2 people got I/L.

Everyone else is still at NVC stage (2011-2012 filers). Some just recently got NOA2.

I've been wondering the same thing. I am also reading the CR-1/IR-1 August interview thread, and no one there has received an interview either. Either all the consulates will be on summer holiday in August and they are not giving out any appointments, or, more likely, the NVC is just scheduling interview appointments a little bit later than usual.

Hang in there everyone, we have made it this far and can wait a couple of days longer!

I called the NVC today, they gave me some interesting, some confusing advice.

First for Pakistan - Police certificates are no longer needed since they are not reliable - so time saved there!

One lady said that I can go ahead and submit my documents with a cover sheet having the case number on it. She even told me that my original marriage certificate in my native language doesn't need a translated copy with it. I was surprised when I heard that, I think I'm just going to submit it just in case.

Then I called again. This other lady said don't submit anything until you are prompted to else your case will just get delayed.

Also I'm wondering when they will move forward with my case, they keep saying 10 business days :( Why can't they just do it now right away :P

I called them on July 10 and the guy on the phone was trying to explain me that all completed cases are on hold to be scheduled for an interview, and that they are waiting available dates from American embassy in Albania, he also told me that I can expect an email anytime when i asked him when will we receive the interview. On July 11 we received the email with the I/L, we are so happy?!!

So the delay came from the US Embassy in Albania?
