I'm a US 8.5, he's a 13 :D

It took me a while to figure out that the US has different sizes for female and male shoe sizes :)

short history:

2001 - met in Germany

April 2003 - fell in love

Aug 2004 - go to the US for internship

Feb 2005 - both return to Germany

Aug 2006 - getting married

DCF timeline:

09/01/2006 - filed the petition in Frankfurt

09/06/2006 - medical in Frankfurt

09/26/2006 - faxed checklist

10/05/2006 - received interview invite

11/01/2006 - INTERVIEW in Frankfurt - approved!

11/04/2006 - VISA IN HAND!!

12/21/2006 - POE San Francisco and ON TO SEA!

Actually, I wear 7, 7 1/2 and 8 (depending on make of shoe) or 37N for Birkenstocks.

And, I have worn men's shoes: many work boots only come in men's sizes---and I wear a 5 1/2 or 6 depending, again, on the make. Yes, yes: work *shoes* with steel toes blahblah come in women's sizes, but not work *boots* (at least, not anywhere I have been). When I was a teenager, North Stars only came in boy's sizes and at that time I was a 5 1/2 boy's shoe size.

What this means is that it was only me who answered for both parts. I have no idea what size He takes. Let's pretend it's 12. Why? So that I can tell you that his son's shoe size is one bigger.

(I am fairly certain that US shoe sizes and Canadian shoe sizes are the same.)

you would think so :P.... I am a size 10 in Canada but the size 10 down here are too small ... I fit into a 10 1/2 or 11 down here , which of course there are not many of :P

5.5 ... its difficult finding shoes on this end of the spectrum as well!

Same here, even worse, I can handle 5.5 for boots and sneakers, but I definitely need a 5 for open toed-shoes.

Hubby is 10.5 or 11, depending on the shoes' style.

married in Vancouver, Canada
