NbI clearance

Guys, what should I do, my NbI clearance was in NVC, and I'm going to have my interview this coming July, I heard that NbI is one of requirements in interview, Do I need to get a new one or just tell them that I already give my NbI to NVC? Someone help please

We have not done our interview process yet but every step of the process says to keep copies of EVERYTHING u submit, its still early June i would suggest go and get another copy of clearance. It wont hurt hopefully someone who has been in this situation can shed more light for you. Good Luck and God Bless

You still have lots of time to get NBI clearance. I suggest that you get it rightaway in case your name is "HIT" coz it will take time..I have all original documents here like Birth, Marriage and NBI aside from the ones we submitted at NVC, just in case they will lost or misplaced any.

IM PRETTY SURE THE NVC WILL FOWARD ALL DOCUMENTS TO THE EMBASSY.

THE CONSULANT WILL HAVE ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS U SUBMITTED TO THE NVC

BUT FOR THE NBI, THERE'S A ORIGINAL AND A COPY. THE ORIGINAL WAS SENT TO NVC FOR THE IV PACKET.

ASK YOUR SPOUSE FOR THE COPY IF HE SHE STILL HAS IT

Yes, you are right with that, but i have been reading a lot of posts that says some civil documents are missing when they submitted it all together to NVC..I won't take chances especially with NBI where if your name is "HIT", it will take couple of weeks to wait..It don't cost much anyway and so are the documents from NSO..

How about the for cenomar? My husband applied for cenomar in first week of may but he never went to the NSO to get it yet. Do u think they'll still have it when he goes to get it?

Sorry but i can not answer it because i never tried gettting documents at NSO office. I did it through phone call or online and usually arrives here in Cebu in 2-3 business days..Maybe some member here can answer this..

He has the copy of receipt, go to NSO asap and claim the cenmar

you got 30 days to claim your cenomar, after that 30 days it will be forfeited so better yet get your cenomar asap. Hope that helps.

For your NSO, you don't need CENOMAR (this is for single individual only). Since you've been married, you'll need CRS Form 5 - Advisory on Marriages also known as CEMAR.
