Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On December 12, 2005, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 120 and 180 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

Since that day, i was only "touched" on dec.28 2005...

Why do u think i have not heard from them since?

It took us almost a yr for us to finally recieve our RFE (we got the RFE only because we asked the congressman's help)... So now that we've responded to USCIS's RFE, are we put back at the bottom of their list? Like those that filed last month have priority over us now?? IT IS USCIS's fault afterall

I agree with the others that it takes time for this type of processing. Just be patient and I love Kezzie's analogy its like having a baby. Good luck.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.
