Have any body recently sponsor their fiance from to vietnam to US? I'm trying to bring my fiance here using the I-129/K1 fiance visa process. She heard now it's impossible to get fiance visa in vietnam due to many fake documents and fake fiance visa. She said that it's better to get marry in vietnam and bring her here through the spouse visa route instead. Is there any truth to that? I'm hoping people in this forum can give some objectives or share their experiences

I want to go the fiance visa process is because it's simplier compared to the spouse visa. The spousal visa looks complicated and long process. Also I want to get marry in the US instead of in vietnam. Long story short, I have known her for more than 10 years and the long dsitance thing is getting old, that's why.

Thanks.
