I paid $45 to get my package sent express overnight by USPS on Thursday- saying that it would arrive before noon on Friday.

Today is Saturday and I just got a notice that it got to Chicago this morning. They tried to deliver it to USCIS today but "business closed- left notice"...

Yay for USPS for that.... :( haha

Should I be worried? Or does anyone know for sure that USCIS will have someone go in to pick up our package...

Thanks guys.... not a great start to the journey haha

To anyone looking for shipping advice: Don't waste money on overnight shipping. The process is slow, and a day or two is not going to change things.

When did you drop off your package? Sometimes that also has a factor in when it actually gets delivered.

but I agree that people shouldn't waste money on overnight shipping, at least through USPS. If you want it done right, go Fedex or UPS.

Well there will be a next time. After this, in a bit less than two years you'll need to file to Remove Conditions. And after that, optionally, is citizenship.

When exactly did you drop off the mail? If it was later than 4:30 pm (whereas each location has different drop off times for overnight shipping), it could have been already too late and they ship it, so it arrives one day later after this time. So maybe you were just minutes/maybe an hour too late

Priority with tracking $ 10-15 has been the standard. FYI, USCIS is a government agency they are not open past working hours. As you will find out one day here and there won't make a difference.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
