I am still in my Morocco .. the agreement with my american citizen wife was that she comes to Morocco to have a great marriage ceremony on june 2013 and then leave together for the US .. meanwhile my wife whose the temper is bad and the mind is changeable and most of time depressed .. fighted and accused me that i married her for visa.. ( if i married her for visa i would not wait for her in Morocco from March 5,2013 date when they granted my visa till now june 5,2013) so she decided to call the homeland which contacted US consulate in my country to revoke my IR1 visa .. So yesterday US consulate in my country convoked me .. i tried to convince them of the nature of my wife but in vain .. they stamped over my visa this " cancelled without prejudice" At present my wife is regretting what she did .. she said that it was at a moment of panic she behaved this way. How could i and my wife remedy to this situation. And we want to get acquianted to any couple went through this.Regards

Sorry about your situation.

As far as an immigration visa is concerned, the case ended when your visa was revoked. No way to revive it.

If you want an immigration visa, your wife has to file a new I-130 and start all.

If this is the case, I suggest his wife try and contact the embassy/consulate/NVC whatever it is that she contacted and try to explain her mistake.

Regardless of the fact that they won't re-issue the visa, the least she could do is try to undo the allegations against him.

OP, honestly, I don't think being in a relationship with someone that accuses you of such a thing, and then slanders you is a good thing, but that's your decision to make.

This wasn't just a rash decision, it was an INSANE decision.

Make sure you two both spend some time together and talk about this and work through your issues before you try to move forward filing again.

You don't want to go through that happening a second time, it would DEFINITELY be a no forever if it happened again.

This is good advice.

Along with what KDH said, the government is all about letters. If you truly want to continue with your wife, when she refiles, have her include a letter with the petition explaining her mistake and that it should have never happened.

But, please for your sake, have a long conversation with her.

I'm sorry for you. Remember, you are leaving behind your job, family, friends and home to make a life with her. Considering her personality and her actions (life changing ). Do you still trust her enough to go through this difficult process and life in America with her? If I was you, I would not start the process again with her until she move to your country and live with you. She needs to prove to you and immigration, if you do the process again that she wants to be with you.

Good luck

I would recommend trying to make up and calm her fears. Get her to write another letter to rescend her accusations. Once things are good Run, don't walk., Drop her like a hot potato!

Are you suggesting that he should stay with her until he gets a green card and then dump her? It highly seems like visa fraud.

If the OP got maried for love and not for the GC, like he says (and I have no reason to doubt that), he has no reason to stay with her until he gets a GC if he has no desire to stay with her any more.

I believe it is against the policies of this forum to suggest and encourage visa fraud...

Good luck in your visa journey!

From the day we sent I-129F to the day I recieved my K-1: Exactly 9 months
