BTW, Carol Brady (of The Brady Bunch) is from Swampscott. That was revealed in the episode where Cindy's trying to get rid of her lisp, and Carol admits that she had a lisp when younger and it was worse for her because she was from Swampscott, Massachusetts. Just a little bit of trivia for ya! :P

Again just amazed at the information I learn on VJ :lol:

Interesting to note that you have a Trader Joe's there. There's one just up the street from me, not even a mile away. I wonder how different the stock is in MA. I know it varies slightly from store to store here in CA.

I don't know but I do know we don't sell liquor in ours due to the law here. I used to shop there a lot but then Whole Foods opened up practically right next door so I go there instead. I feel bad for the Trader Joes because Whole Foods sucked up a lot of their business.

Yeah, we have several Whole Foods here but the closest is about a 20 minute drive away.

Plus, they're about a zillion times more expensive than Trader Joe's. So I guess it's a trade-off. Trader Joe's doesn't have as much merchandise but Whole Foods costs more.

I just got some awesome hand soap from there but it cost me $8.00 !!

I absolutely love the peppermint bark when Trader Joe's sells it. It's usually available around this time of year so I should pop in at some point and get some. I usually give it for a grab present at work when we do our yankee swap.

mmm yummy. Note to self_ head over to Williams-Sonoma before they run out for pepperment bark

What's peppermint bark? Is that just peppermint flavored chocolate??

Its a mix of dark chocolate and white chocolate with broken pieces of peppermint candy canes.
