Certificate Naturalization status vs Divorce decreed question

Hello:

I got my Certification of Naturalization in february but by those days I was still legally Married( separated phisically more than 1 year ) On May I got my Divorce decreed, question Do I have to change my civil statsu first to start filling out the pettion to my fiance i-129F

Did you naturalise based on 3 years marriage? Or 5 years of being an LPR?

You don't need to change your "civil status" (whatever that is) you simply would provide a divorce decree.

Yes but HOW. On what basis? based on 3 years marriage to a USC? 5 years as an LPR?

It was based in 5 years if permanent residence ..why u ask me?

If you're naturalized, you have nothing more to do with USCIS. Inform SS you're now a citizen and that's it. They were worried that if you naturalized based on 3 years married to a USC, and were separated from your husband, it could come back to haunt you. As in losing your citizenship for fraud. As long as it was based on 5 years legal resident, then you've no worries.
