guys,

my father in law just got his visa from Mumbai consulate. He plans to come to USA before July. I just wanted to know if that my mother in law is currently in San Jose, CA with my wife's sister. So, does my father in law has to come to New Jersey, since we live here, or can he go to San Jose? The officer in Mumbai asked this question to my father in law that where does he plan to stay? in CA or NJ... so he just wanted to know before he buys a ticket. any help would be greatful.

with a valid visa, he can enter anywhere

there will be another question and answer session with cbp when he gets off the plane
