Still awaiting Visa from Embassy... already 9 days... now

Should it be taking this long? I tried calling embassy but to no avail. Still gives me same information as the ustraveldocs website.

I was hoping to actually speak to someone to find out what the hold up is.

I was under the impression that the visa should arrive within 3-7 days. Where in Russia is your fiance? It may take longer to get to her part of the country if she is not in a major city

SO was she, She lives in Arkhangelsk. They told her 3-5 business days, we're on day 10.


Now, the travel docs website is saying this when we type in her passport number...

There is no status update available for the passport number submitted

Yesterday it said, "Passport still with post"

Round and Round we go. Finally some news, they wrote my fiancee and email and said to her, "you did not sign form 156k blah blah blah"

so we talked to ustraveldocs AGAIN and we got the form AGAIN and signed and dated it AGAIN and scanned and emailed to them.

Isn't this the whole point that they check your documents at the interview? To make sure everything is filled out correctly!

3 Weeks now... Still nothing and status on passport cant even be checked... this is bull!
