I-134 affidavit of support, #11

#11 of i-134 asks whether I intend or not intend "to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3. --- I assume I should check that I intend to do so. Later, it says that if you intend to support the individual named in item 3, "indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions." Do I need to say that I will support room and board and how much money I will give and for how long??? How did you all deal with it?

Thanks!

You would check intend if your sponsoring , and I put this on mine for question 11 , I-129F Fiance Visa as pertains to the law , whatever support will be needed.

this has been answered so many times on this forum..i had the same dileman. The popular answer given by those experienced is to put there "N/A (KI VISA FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)". Hope that helps.

Do not check either. It is N/A for a K-1. Follow the example form> http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf

I am trying to follow the exact form, but for question 10 it does not let me write in numbers or parentheses. Also, under the oath or affirmation of sponsor, it seems like there are two spaces to sign? Or do you print your name in one of them?

You are right. I just went and downloaded a blank I-134 and you cannot enter anything other than letters and hyphens for #10. Just put the name then. What is shown in parentheses is just extra anyway. The name, relationship and date from the I-129F NOA makes it known who it is and that it is the current petition you just filed.

That extra line is some glitch in the form. If you mouse over it, it says "Enter Relationship", which makes no sense for that space. Leave it blank. Just sign and date it where it states to below that.
