seems her prior years tax data not deemed sufficient, so they be asking for a co-sponser or joint-sponser for the I-864 stuff.

as to 'the rest' - i've no idea - if you filed at the embassy via dcf - there is no NVC involvement, so is possible the dates on the other documents have 'expired', per se... and you need to obtain new ones with newer dates.

?!?!?! That doesn't make sense to me.

Start your own thread with your own questions... :) He won't derail the thread. ;)

OP did you file DCF or did you do the CR1/IR1 route?

Like darnell said, the embassy could be deciding she doesn't make enough or hasn't been at her job long enough and you need a joint sponsor.

If the job is only for the past 8 months, it may not be enough for them to believe that it's consistent or that there's enough in the bank for you not to be a public charge. They may be asking for a joint sponsor (if you didn't already have one) and if that joint sponsor has a spouse, they will need to file an I-864A. Then in addition to the forms, you will need to provide tax return documents from both the joint sponsor and the spouse.

I had my interview at mumbai embassy on 25th sept 2012 I applied for IR1 visa ,yes earlier I have submitted the I-864 form filled by my wife with a written explanation ,why she dint file her tax returns, however now she has few months tax returns and her current job pays her $41000 per annum,so can I send once again the I-864 form signed by my wife along with other documents ,cuz that time they felt it might not sufficient but now she fullfills the powerty guide lines or is there a way my wife talk to the mumbai embassy, cuz we do not want to ask her parents for joint sponser.

there is no such thing as 'few months tax returns' unless she is required for file quarterly for 2013.

interview 25th sept 2012 ??

ok la ...

when that 'stuff' was submitted, she was scant on income.

now she has 2012 tax return, which was not supplied for interview on 25th sept 2012

now she has 2013 'current annual income', which was not supplied for interview on 25th sept 2012.

So, you have new data.

what's keeping you from submitting a new I-864 with the new data ?

re: medical and new PCC - I can understand WHY they want new ones, as the interview date was 25th sept 2012 and both are expired. Get new ones.

Yes,she has 2012 tax forms not supplied on 25th sept and current income well above the powerty guidelines which is not mentioned on 25th sept 2012,but the letter says joint sponser,if I send my wifes signed I-864 will they accept? or shall I try sending my wife details so that if required they will issue a nother 221g for joint sponser?

you were in ap since 25th sept 2012 right ?

now, finally, you got a letter asking for more stuff, recently.

You're in a unique situation, where your wife has new data. Her new data trumps the old data reviewed on 25th sept 2012 .

The cool thing, is that since she has new data, is quite possible that a co-sponser is not going to be required. It's really hard to say, as her 2012 tax year data is still going to seem scant to the IV unit, but her 2013 current annual income amount is good.

I can't say, with certainty, that they'll accept new stuff and NOT ask for a co-sponser after reviewing her NEW STUFF. However, I do say it's certainly worth the effort to try, make the attempt, as your wife is NOT wanting to enlist a joint-sponser for you.

Good Luck !
