Hey guys! So, my file was also transferred to Texas. I had a question about the Alien Number. When I got the notice of the transfer, my Fiance had the Alien Number listed right above his name 'Beneficiary'. What does that mean? Does that mean they are working on my case now that its transferred? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! :)

When you got the message "Alien registration number changed" (most times it was a few days after you got your Noa1) they assigned an A# for the beneficiary. So now it just happened that they put the A# on the transfer notice, happened on ours too.

Oh... :(. I thought it meant that they are approving mine soon :(. Ughhh, im so upset that January Filers are being approved. I hope this transferring helps us. Its been six months for me... ughh. i see you are a vermont filer too. My noa1 date is 12/17. I was supposed to have it filed in November... ughhh

And everytime I call USCIS.. they keep saying "If you dont hear from us within 30 days, give us a call back". Idk if that means an approval will come within 30 days ?

It doesn't because they keep saying it to you until you are outside of your processing times. Its basically to get rid of you because you are still in the normal processing times. When you call them and you are outside of your processing time then they can put in a service request for you. Which also means more waiting to hear back from them.

Start your research now for the next steps for the interview etc and AOS after arriving and marrying in the USA.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
