Hello everyone!

Well my husband and I have a beautiful 2 month old baby girl together and I have 2 other childeren(same dad) from a previous relationship that I ended 4 1/2 years ago (for the best) and my husband loves them dearly. So ok my question is will at time of Interview will the CO give us more of a hard time? I have been reading interview reviews but have not been able to find anything that could help. If anyone has a similar situation or any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much in advance! :)

I think it is just the opposite with the fact you have a child together. Your situation is almost the same as with my wife, and having a child together is probably one of the best reasons to show the relationship is real and ongoing.

There should be no problem, Your other two children are from before this relationship, it's not as if you cheated on your current husband, which may throw doubt on the relationship.

It shouldn't be a problem, Your kids are from a past relationship... But I do recommand that your husband know your other childrens, names, birthdays, ages, etc... At time they will ask the husband or vese versa this questions, and how is there relationship with the child.

my fiance and I have a 5month old baby also.. I was wondering if they request a paternity test. I'm sure your husband is on the birth certificate since you are already married.. so your interview will be easier! good luck

Yes he is on birth certificate. Hopefully they will not require a DNA test. I had sent in with the I-130 app the first ultrasound pictures that were taken in DR and some more after :) Thank You!
