well, there's paying back

but then there's a payment plan

then there is auto-garnishment of wages

then there is 'in arrears to the irs'

then there is 'owe the irs money'

usually, if you have an agreed payment plan with the irs and you are making the payments, the IV unit will take notice of this on interview day .

if you are still 'in arrears' without any payment plan - the IV unit will do some math - it's

current annual income reported

minus

irs arrears amount

and that will equal your new 'current annual income' amount to be used with the IV unit.

so, what's what, and whatcha got ? I not need to know of actual amounts, but other stuff, already listed.

apologies - you asked about 'filing'.

for 'filing' the I-130, no, not affect the filing at all.

your income is evaluated on interview day at a US Embassy/Consulate Immigrant Visa Unit, so if you are just now filing the I-130 petition,

then you have some time to sort things out with the IRS.

Yes, you being 23 years older than your wife IS a red flag. It just means you have to provide more evidence of an on-going relationship, visits, chats, phone recoreds, pictures etc. to overcome it. As far as paying the IRS I am not an expert but I would think as long as you're paying and have filed your taxes it would be a minor bump in th road. Will you be having a co-signer?

In Jamaica its somewhat normal up to 25 yrs older for men

its not a red-flag, unless the other way around...ok so payments

are being made...be aware its not an overnite thing, time, money

and patience is what you need, start working on a co-sponsor if U R

under the poverty line, and proofs of on-going relationship

I'm not sure if I will have to use one (co-signer), age is just a number I love her and she loves me dearly however I only go there once per year because of my job. I take care of her financially, we mostly talk through APPs like whatsapp viber Skype vonage because its cheaper or free, will that cost a problem???? thanks for ur eye opener

thanks for ur input on this, the IRS draw money from my pay before I get it, so is that okay?

No a co-sponsor can be someone who is willing to furnish you with tax

returns & signed affidavit of support, I know there is a way to get Skype

records, but not sure about Vonage , sending little cards for BDays, & holidays

is good, money transfer records that U send, photos when U visits and other

receipts, also test message records....always following the instructions of

the immigration requests and make sure she knows where U live, your kids

names (if U have any) where U work, and hopefully she have met your parents

or some of your family.....just never be late with that payments...gooodlukck
