what should i be looking out for actually?

Im out of town but the missus said theres nothing in the mail and there has not been any digital updates either?

6/06/2013 - Check Cashed.

6/07/2013 - Receipt Date on NOAs - Transferred to National Benefits Center.

6/11/2013 - Received Hard copy NOAs.

6/14/2013 - Biometrics Appointment Notice.

7/08/2013 - Biometrics Done and Successful in Baltimore.

7/17/2013 - I-485 status updated to "Testing and Interview".

8/07/2013 - Interview Notice Received.(online/text).

Hi guys,

Its two weeks since the interview, nothing yet..

The best course of action is to keep waiting, right? For how long?

Exactly...! as long as you don't hear that your case has been denied.....There is hope...! Good luck keep praying for it.

Hi heaven93, I read your timeline, and says that your GC will expire on 2023.. that is 10 years.. you are so lucky.. mine is still on conditional status which is only 2 years... =)

Hi heaven93, I read your timeline, and says that your GC will expire on 2023.. that is 10 years.. you are so lucky.. mine is still on conditional status which is only 2 years... =)

Hi Irah,

It is because my AOS was through a parent not marriage. On the other hand you'll be able to become a U.S. Citizen in three years, on my case is five years. Any ways we had been bless already with our cases being approved

I would wait a full 30 days from the date of the interview and then schedule an infopass to inquire if you have not heard anything by then.

i really have no clue why i havent heard anything yet, as the interview went real smooth

I wonder if they'll schedule one in 30 days as the continuation letter says you should wait 120? I wouldn't wait myself either though and I'd be knocking on their door after 30. Good Luck !!!

We went to the DMV and got the state ID without a hitch. The only thing they looked at was the GC. Very smooth sailing!

The SSN was another story. Somehow, somebody put the maiden name in the system as both the middle and the last name! It took awhile for the staffer to figure out what was going on. He was able to correct the name and order issuance of another card without the DHS authorization note on it. I'm glad we caught this error early on. Who knows what would have happened years down the line? The staffer was very friendly and helpful.

Now we are done...................... WOOHOO !!!!

My green card came in the mail on September 20th, 9 days after our interview. The following Monday, the 23rd, I got my driving permit and now im waiting for my driving test on October 11th to finally get my license :) Will probably go remove conditions on my SSC this upcoming week. Things are finally in place!!! Hopefully ROC will be an easy process. Good luck to all of you still waiting.

well i got a case update text, and i rushed to the laptop to check. Upon getting here, i find that the case is back to "initial review". Saying something about my name being updated. Here is the message:

"On September 30, 2013, your name was updated relating to your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

now i am just confused. i dont know whats going on. Anyone had this happen to them?
