I know it's a bit early but thought we'd get a June AOS thread going. We mailed our documents May 31st and received both three emails and three texts for each of the packets we sent last night. I put a G-1145 form on each filing instead of just one on top of the pack. Our AOS receipt date was June 5th and the EAD & AP receipts were dated June 3rd. All three filings show up on the USCIS site and we are now in the squirrel cage!

Good luck to all the June filers..... Here we go!

Hey Irah and Sanyata,

Have you guys received the welcome letter yet? Mine was mailed last Friday, but still nothing in the mailbox. I know it's too early to worry, but I thought I'd ask :)

06/12/13 Application filed

06/15/13 USCIS received application

06/20/13 Checks cashed

06/24/13 Received hard copy NOAs and biometrics appointment

07/17/13 Biometrics appointment

07/23/13 Status updated to "Testing and interview"

08/16/13 EAD approved

08/30/13 AOS approved. Interview was canceled by USCIS. But I showed up and was approved! :)

The GREEN CARD arrived in the mail today. If my math is correct it was 16 days from the interview and 10 days from the NOA1 date. In the next week or two we will go get the Soc Sec Card changed and get a Calif. I.D. Then we are done with all this bureaucracy for for 1 year and 9 months........................ ah, life is good!

We are breaking out the champagne!

Olsan3- I can't believe how fast time went by!!! I'm starting to get a little nervous ? I shouldn't worry, but it's a natural instinct at this point. I am getting everything together today and finishing up a photo album. What about you? What time is your interview at?

put up a list of everything you got together.. so i can compare with mine. and how do you make a photo album? Im literally from the digital world. Hardcopies are foreign to me.

youre right about natural instinct..

the wife would have to meet up with me from work.

She wouldnt have to be searched because she works for the federal govt so i dont see any delays.
