As far as I know ,we are not allowed to bring any electronic devices during interview. I may be wrong. You might as well print some of the pics there as your back-up in case they wont allow you .Just my 2 cents:)

Also, it seems that they often like to keep some copies for their records. So it will be good to have hard copies so that they can put them in your file.

dancin5hr.gif CARD RECEIVED !!!!! dancin5hr.gif

The card showed up in todays mail. So it was nine days from the production order date to receipt. Also the USCIS site gave the USPS tracking number but the update wasn't very timely.

It is only good for one year, I thought it was good for two? Maybe another card is generated after the interview and AOS is approved? It does say "serves as I-512 advanced parole" at the bottom of the card. We have our interview next Wednesday so I'll seek clarification then.

SophiaNicole, Yes it does seem like things are going faster than usual. And so far we June filers haven't had too much to complain about! I can't wait until next Wednesday is over and all this will be behind us.

Good Luck too all, gonna be a lot of dancing and crying over the nest few weeks !!!!

Yep, no electronics and definitely take hard copies of every thing you think is necessary. Personally, we're only going to have about ten or so pics. We've gotten most of our assets changed over to co-ownership plus wills, power of attorneys, etc. which I think will carry greater weight. But we do plan on hitting them with everything we got, just not overdo any one category.

Hey there sanyata,

Congrats!!!! Yup, the EADs are always for 12 months. It's only meant to be a stop-gap measure to allow one to work and travel in the interim while the AOS is pending and being processed since it can take time; sometimes 6 months or even 12 months. Once your green card is approved then the EAD and AP become irrelevant and unnecessary because the green card replaces them as you are then a Legal Permanent Resident and can then use your green card to work and travel. Since you came on K-1 and have been married for less than two years, you will get a conditional 2-year green card and will have to apply to remove those conditions (ROC) within the 90 days prior to the expiration date on the 2-year green card and include evidence to show that you have a bonafide marriage in those 2 years and didn't enter into it to evade immigration laws. Not applying at all and not applying at the right time means you will lose your permanent resident status and can be grounds for removal from the U.S.. After the ROC you will get the 10-year green card. After 3 years of being married to the U.S. citizen, you will be eligible for to apply for U.S. citizenship for yourself.
