Any updates on your i864 that you submitted?

To my understanding 6 months worth of W2s and last tax return should suffice? Or will other things have to be added as well?

Congrats on your approval and welcome to NVC thread! goofy.gifhttp://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/423515-nvc-process/

Nothing yet on my i864 and I really don't expect any feedback so quick. I think it will take at least two weeks for them to review it.

Nothing on DS-3032 either (((

I thought you get W2 only once a year, please explain what you mean by 6 months worth of W2s.

You could add proof of your current income in addition to tax info for past years. It could be a letter from your employer, bank statements, contract, anything you find as good proof smile.png As said in i864 instructions it is optional.

To prepare my package I used i864 instructions on the USCIS site, along with Saylin's checklist and this http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html

I meant 6 months of pay stubs

I'm using a Joint sponsor b/c I don't have any income since I'm a medical student - the last time I had a full time job was back in 2009 :(

Sometimes I just wish my wife was here already - its been so long since we got married on Feb 24, 2012 :'(

This US Immigration really has to change itself - H1 and F1 nonimmigrants can bring their wives or even B1B2 but people like us they tell us to wait for such a long time!

Very true! I second you on that. Nonimmigrant spouses have more advantages than immigrants' spouses and that is really bad. Just hope the current immigration reform bill becomes reality in the near future, so that future F2A beneficiaries can reach their spouses faster, unlike all of us here who are anyway going through the long waiting journey :(
