You have to wait for your NOA2/approval from USCIS. Your case will not be forwarded to NVC unless approved by USCIS.

I-130 Priority date - 07/09/2012

I-130 Approved - 08/08/2013

Sent I-485/I-131/I-765 - 08/30/2013

Received receipt - 09/14/2013

Biometric letter received - 09/16/2013

Biometric Appointment - 10/02/2013

Online status changed to testing & interview - 10/10/2013

Interview notice received 10/15/13 - Interview schedule for 11/14/13

EAD&Travel docs approved - 10/31/2013

Interview - 11/14/13

RFE Received- 11/18/13

RFE submitted - 12/13/13

GC status changed to production - 12/30/13

GC and welcome letter received - 01/07/14

Well if you read the official predictions on the July Visa bulletin page, you have to look after the tables, they say for Category F2A -

"D. VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS (August - October)

FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement)

Worldwide dates:

F1: Up to five weeks

F2A: Could become “Current” at some point during the coming months.

F2B: Four to seven weeks

F3: Three to five weeks

F4: Three to five weeks"

So before October 2013 this category will become Current - meaning everyone in this category regardless of their priority date will be eligible for a visa.

Vermont processing center is currently at Feb 13, 2012 as of May 21, 2013, I hope by June 21 they move that up as well. My PD is April 3, 2012.

What happens if F2A PD is current and I 130 is pending. not approved. still we have to wait for approval or just start visa processing?

Yes, you have to be approved by USCIS first. Your case will not be forwarded to NVC without NOA2.

My i-130 was approved on June 24, 2013, now I am waiting for the NVC case number. I read online that most likely the F2A category will become current in the August visa bulletin, so I'm hoping that they will give my wife an interview as soon as possible.

10/11/2013: Case status changed to "In Transit"

10/14/2013: Passed medical exam

10/16/2013: Case status changed to "Ready", received email from Consulate regarding interview procedure

10/22/2013: Filled DS-260 online

I have the same case...! I am currently on F1 status and my wife applied petition for me under F2A category. My priority date is Feb 25, 2013. I hope i ll get my I-130 approved soon, so i can apply for I-485...!

02/25/201;3: I-130 NOA 1
08/21/2013: I-130 transferred to Nebraska Service Center

10/07/2013: I -130 approved.

08/12/2013 : I-485, I-131, I-765 Packet sent.
08/15/2013: e-mail and text received from USCIS.
08/21/2013: received hard copy.
08/25/2013: received hard copy of biometrics for 09/13/2013.

Last, someone got approved from VSC whose priority date was in April.

After that no one get approval yet from VSC, whereas people getting approval from VSC whose priority dates are in july....!

What wrong with VSC...?

02/25/201;3: I-130 NOA 1
