Well if you read the official predictions on the July Visa bulletin page, you have to look after the tables, they say for Category F2A -

"D. VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS (August - October)

FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement)

Worldwide dates:

F1: Up to five weeks

F2A: Could become “Current” at some point during the coming months.

F2B: Four to seven weeks

F3: Three to five weeks

F4: Three to five weeks"

So before October 2013 this category will become Current - meaning everyone in this category regardless of their priority date will be eligible for a visa.

Vermont processing center is currently at Feb 13, 2012 as of May 21, 2013, I hope by June 21 they move that up as well. My PD is April 3, 2012.

I think vsc processing time will also take a big jump as there is decrease number of people applied under F2A category in 2012 in compaire to 2011...!
So fingers cross guys..!

Come on..... VSC Update ur processing time... ...

Hi sam271985, I just looked at the VSC Processing Trend chart http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=5&office=6&charttype=1

and I see that there is actually increase of given receipt numbers starting from Feb 2012, which means more people applied I-130 at VSC in 2012.

However, I don't see categories breakdown. Could you please guide me where I can find this info about our F2A category?

Thank you!!!!

Keeping my fingers crossed as well !!

That chart is for all family preference category..!i mean all F1, F2, F3, and F4..! just look at this site...http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/WaitingListItem.pdf

where u can see that people who are applying for F2A category, they are less in compair to 2011.

There were 322,636 in 2011 whereas there were only 220,313 in 2012. That means there is 31% decrease for this category...!
