Hello! I am new to this and wish I was able to log in more often before as we are already at the end of our jorney (I hope)!!!

My husband is in Italy and we have just received information from NVC stating that he has been pre-approved and he has an interview date in Naples on July 23.

I am so confused on what we need to do next!

Does any one know how or if we need to get the "correspondence instructions" ?!?!?!?! or what we are suppose do to?

Also any tips for the interview in Naples?

Thanks for any help at all!! And a million wishes of good luck to everyone going through this---> it's been sooooo hard!

Well first congratulations. You should have gotten in your Interview email (we call it the P4 letter) a checklist of what you need to bring specific for you.

Also you will us the interview letter to schedule your medical. Check your countries forum on medical places or go to the embassy website. Get more passport pics, rest , chill and breathe.

Check the embassy website if there are specifics. Also go to the Italian forums here to get country specific info.

The best to prepare is go over all the reviews for the embassy you will be at in Naples see how the questioning went and all that.

Also in the guides are the general interview questions you should have had those and know those back and forth.

Don't think you have too hard an embassy but you know questioning is specific to each individual.

I have added you to our Interview list since we don't get alot of folk from Italy. Come on by.

Sorry I wrote that wrong I guess--> the letter says "The NVC has completed pre-processing "(my husband's name) "'s petition and forwarded it to the American EMbassy/Consulate in Naples for your visa interview...."

I'm too excited and think pre-approved for wishful thinking ahahahah!

ah ok so the "visa interview requirements" is what the P4 letter is? thanks so much for the info! I guess I am too confused on the actaul form names and how they are referred to on this site. I didn't know about the general interview questions so I will definitely check that out.

Thanks so much! This has been all so nerve wrecking and stressful and at this last stage we are beyond on edge!!

Naples was not too. Difficult except, they were very particular regarding financials so be sure the sponsor meets the requirements. The medical is done the day prior, then the interview and if you pass, pick up the visa same day... Read the Italy embassy reviews and go down the document checklist and you should be ok....

ah ok! I think we are ok with the financial since we sent that in the previous packet and now have the interview? I will have him bring copies of that information anyway! Thank you so much for the tips and reading the Italy embassy reviews has helped calm our nerves :)
