Greencard Taking Longer Because of DCF?

I'm waiting for a call back about it, but it has been 7+ weeks since POE and no welcome letter or greencard. I called and visited the Hartford, CT office about 3 weeks after POE on account of them approving an I-130 after my husband already POE-ed with his CR-1. At that point he wasn't in the system yet and they were largely unconcerned.

I'm wondering if anyone else who POE-ed had the greencard take a long time to process perhaps because they did DCF?

How long did you wait to pay the 165$ green card production fee? that could slow it down too.

I paid it about a week before we POE-ed.

Couldn't be that then, Could it be a problem with the POE filing the stuff then? considering when you went to the meeting they said he was not yet in the system even after 3 weeks?

I was figuring it was that maybe because it was Boston the day after the bombings and perhaps they went back through everything with a fine toothed comb. I guess whenever they call back we will find out what it is.

Well our Welcome Letter was mailed yesterday and the card has been sent for printing. All that worry for nothing.

Suspect it was due to POE delay. They can be slow sometimes. Specially with him arriving the day after a large security incident in the city.
