VSC transfers to TSC

Okay okay, I've been reading these recent posts about some Dec and Jan filers being moved over to Texas... and here is my two cents. In theory, IF they get processed in the upcoming weeks, this means that by that time VSC would have approved/denied 99% of Novembers' petitions, they'll fast track onto the leftover Dec/Jan petitions that were left at VSC and straight onto Feb, March, April etc... So, we could be looking at more approvals back within the 5 month time frame, maybe less? Either way we should never lose hope and keep our fingers and toes crossed and ride this stressful process through til the end!!

That was probably their reasoning... just hope we Dec/Jan filers who were transferred to TSC will actually be processed quickly before February, March, April, and May at VSC. The more sinister alternative is that they put us to the side and effectively silenced us since we can't complain of being beyond processing times; TSC doesn't have a K1 processing timeframe. :( Good news for you, terrible news for us, but we paid the same fee.

Good luck to you! :)

We met when Heather travelled to Egypt to be an au pair!

VSC has created a real mess! 8,000 cases transferred to an office that doesn't do I-129f's so now these people wait until staff is trained. Those left at VSC look to be forgotten. There are still several October and November filers left at VSC . Looking at Igor's list, VSC has slowed down even more. All this while CSC is processing Feb filers. I contacted the Ombudsman office today to complain. But, it will take more than me to bring attention to our plight. If your as pissed off as I am, please fill out this form and complain. There is power in numbers!!!!

At bottom of page is form to complain.

Dear Sir, I am writing to complain about services provided at Vermont Service Center concerning I-129f applications. A grave injustice has occurred to many US Citizens whom are trying to bring their loved ones home. On May 24, 2013 over 8,000 cases were transferred from Vermont Service Center (VSC) to Texas Service Center (TSC) because of a backlog in processing. Now those cases sit unattended because TSC has to train officers to process those said cases which will result in more delays. Cases left at Vermont Service Center (VSC) continue to languish because of inept management! What processing is occurring at VSC has slowed down since the transfers occurred and backlog will continue to worsen resulting in further delays. All the while processing at California Service Center has progressed to currently adjuncting cases filed in February 2013.

CSC according to the USCIS web site currently has a 5 month waiting period and VSC is currently processing applications from October 15. As a US Citizen our cases should receive priority over the cases of ILLEGAL RESIDENTS filing under DACA.
