SWEEEET JESUS!!!..... I MADE IT TO AMERICA, listsening to that song as we speak....... Its has been 3 weeks since i have been here and i am loving it! even tho i am home alone at times i find things to do during the day, bbm texting to my friends and family back home, skype, facebook, taking a walk arround the block, listen to music, or sometimes i just go shopping as i have learned how to get to the shopping area. thanks again to my visa journey family for the help and support, but i also wanted to know how long will i have to wait to get my green card in the mail? does anyone know?

It took my huband exactly 3 weeks from POE to receive GC and 3 welcome letters.

Me say, Rasta George! Congrats! I see that you're in NY, NY. I miss all my island friends from when I was living there! I had some of the best jerk, sorrel and roti. You also made it in time for the big parade in Brooklyn at the end of every summer! Have fun!

yeah there is a lot of island people here, i live in queens, when i went to brooklyn i had to check my selft to see if i was in ja lol, i dont miss the ja food yet, but i know i will soon, biggrin.png

If you are in NY the only thing you may not find is red-coat plum

for dry coconut, green bananas, cut cake, buns, JA cheese, June

plum, mangos,jackfruit, promganate, kola champagne, bigga etc

go to Guy Brewer two doors from Jamaica Ave, for patties, puddings

fruit cake coconut water go to 165th & Jamaica Ave You cant be in NY &

miss Jamaican food, Hillside Ave, Jamaica Ave & Guy Brewer U get

anything including CDs....now go get a job & enjoy

  • 11/25/2013 Received 221g requesting DNA testing on 2 of the 3 kids

June 18, 2015 EAD CARD APPROVED AWAITING DELIVERY!!!

June 24,2015 EAD/AP combo card picked up by USPS

June 25, 2015 EAD/AP card received

October 6, 2015 email stating greencards in production!!!

Sept 9, 2013 ~ NVC Received correct Birth Certificate, but now being told 30 business day review instead of 20 sad.png

Sept 13, 2013 ~ Did the DS 260 online...another 30 business day review ..Ugghhhhh...was told we didn't need to do this, but now we do mad.gif

Oct 2, 2013 ~ CASE COMPLETE AND INTERVIEW DATE OF NOV. 20th!! WAHOOOOO!

Nov 20, 2013 ~ VISA APROVADA!!

Nov 26, 2013 ~ Picked Up Visa in Santo Domingo at Domex

Nov 27, 2013 ~ POE Atlanta....Then flew to Illinois....Picked my Hubby up at the Airport!!!
