any evidence you send must be dated prior to your fiance filing the I-129F ....so you won't be able to create evidence now and send that in.

Affidavits from family and friends.

I included copies of credit statements. I submitted a few of mine and my fiance's from when we visted each other. When I was in his town in the US, I would submit a copy of both mine and his, and highlighted the transactions made during the trip, showing that we were in the same town at the same time, and I did the smae for when he visited here. I think I sent about 6 different trips worth.

thanks for the advice everyone. Very helpful! Others were mentioning about sending affidavits, which i agree is a good idea because it helps with proof of others having met us together. Is there a link you can send me for filling out affidavit? There are many online, but open to what others have used. Thanks!

My fiance and I just recieved an RFE, because they want primary evidence of us meeting in person. We originally sent 5 photos, many many emails and facebook messages, and they are saying they want primary evidence...He is from Michigan and I'm from Ottawa, Ontario. We travel by car only so perhaps we should send credit card bank statement and receipts of our gas bills? We dont have passport stamps, no hotel receipts (as we always stay in each other's family home when we visit), and no plane, train or bus tickets. They said they don't need more photos or telephone bills, as they don't want more proof of an on-going relationship but rather they want evidence of us meeting. Please make suggestions of what else we can include as primary evidence

Receipts for gas purchases by HIM in Canada or YOU in the US within the 24 months prior to submitting the petition is the type of thing they are looking for.

Personally I wouldn't rely solely on an affidavit from family or friends to satisfy this RFE.

Affidavits will not help. You need independent 3rd party evidence. Get credit card bills showing putrchases across the border. This is the only thing that will help under the circumstances. Don't bother with affidavits at this point. You can ask friends to write whatever. Focus on 3rd independent party evidence.

It's interesting that they want evidence of you *meeting* and yet I assume you submitted photographs with both of you in them, together. You know, like... meeting. Silly folks.

My thought exactly. Do you have any additional photos, even though they said no to additional photos, of the two of you with a visible US or CA landmark in the background? If so, send those. Photos that are dated too.

We have lots of photos of us together! We submitted 5 and they said they don't need more photos. We wrote the dates on the back of the photo as well as the location and our names. We've been together since October 2011. They want 'primary evidence'

See if you can get a copy of your border crossing dates, that might help, though I imagine they would already have access to that. I realized I was in the same boat, no primary evidence, and started to panic a little, because I honestly had none. I could fill up my gas tank in Watertown NY, and make to to Ottawa and back without having to refill so I had no CC expenses, I stayed at her moms, and we would just exchange currencies with each other. Somehow we slipped through without an RFE.

Pictures are NOT primary evidence. You can write ANY dates.

Primary evidence:

1) Passport Stamps

2) Hotel reservations with both of your names

3) Airline/rail ticket stubs

If none, credit card bills may do it. Nothing else will.

san diego: you misunderstood mattmari.

mattmari wasn't saying photos are primary evidence. mattmari only mentioned photos because mattmari was just responding to other people asking about submitting photos. Then mattmari acknowledges that mattmari needs primary evidence, not photos.

If you wish to go ahead and include affidavits, there are some examples here on VJ under Lifting Conditions> http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples
