WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH VSC?

Yeah I just contacted my Congressional Rep and the Ombudsman. It is very wrong that not a single transferred file has been processed since we got the first notice on May 24th. We need answers as to when REAL processing is going to start. I am doubtful that they will start today given that it is Friday. And they seem so slow on Mondays particularly, so in my own unprofessional opinion, I'm thinking it's going to be Tuesday now at the earliest. That's almost a three week delay. I feel like this site is soo helpful in some ways, but think I need to stop checking in every day at the moment as it's driving me bananas!

California is pumping out 6-7 approvals a day and there are working in Jan and Feb. While VSC is November - December and doing about 3 approvals a day.......... These people dont have a clue of what it feels like being away from someone you love i take it..........let one of those office worker give their wife or husband a final hug and kiss and leave with the thought of when you will see them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it can be frustrating but you need to be strong. Our petition stayed at VSC for 8 months before we were approved yet we could see people getting approved in 2-3 months!!! The worst thing is no matter how many calls you make or who you approach (we talked to the Congressman), it doesn't really make a difference. Just hang in there, it will happen soon.

I know its very difficult to the OP but realize that this process actually protects the US citizen and the US Government more than anything. While most spouse/fiancee visas are legit you can never truly know a person's intent and thus they have to protect you from yourself in a sense. The wait game is extremely taxing and the process stressful, but if your relationship doesn't survive this than whats it to say it can survive the years in the future. Also we still are actively looking for those that wish to do us harm and unfortunately we have to scrutinize people's applications (although some countries should be looked more at than others IMO as well as gender and profiling.)

My heart aches for you all back when I did the whole visa process Vermont were cranking them out and California were as slow as molasses in January. All I can say is have faith, there is light at the end of the tunnel.... My husband used to say to me while we were going through the visa experience that "If we can make it through the separations and USCIS hell then we can make it through anything".

I wish you all a speedy out come.

Almost done with it all

Where did you get the idea they don't do anything on Friday so they can cruise on Mondays? You may want to take your own advice so you stop reading things into this that simply arent correct.

You do understand they have about 2.5 million cases to deal with. Yours is one of those.

You have got to be kidding....CSC just approved a 3/20/2013...:(VSC approved ONE file yesterday....:(

I'm pretty sure it's Feb 20, not Mar 20, and the user just entered the date incorrectly. Note the date the application was sent.

VSC has created a real mess! 8,000 cases transferred to an office that doesn't do I-129f's so now these people wait until staff is trained. Those left at VSC look to be forgotten. There are still several October and November filers left at VSC . Looking at Igor's list, VSC has slowed down even more. All this while CSC is processing Feb filers. I contacted the Ombudsman office today to complain. But, it will take more than me to bring attention to our plight. If your as pissed off as I am, please fill out this form and complain. There is power in numbers!!!!

To contact Ombudsman follow this link: https://cisomb.dhs.g...a/form7001.aspx

At bottom of page is form to complain.

Ok, we can now add "contacted Ombudsman" to the list. We have already received a written reply from our congressman. I'll paraphrase. "Tough sh!t." To be fair, he was only quoting what the VSC told him. ;-)

Why does it rub people the wrong way when others chime in on how "its really not that bad"?... Seriously, if you only waited 3, 4, 5 months for the processing...you dont know what it's like to be at TSC and NO approvals have been processed for two weeks. There are people waiting 6.5 months with no light at the end of the tunnel...VSC is moving at 1-5 a day....Monday will be week three for TSC...unless you have good info that there will be Monday, Tuesday, or even Wednesday processing there, please don't comment on "it will happen soon"...this shallow patronization really gets under every ones skin...

Yes, that one is definitely a March filer, confirmed via talking with her. Seems at least one adunctor has now finished his/her February caseloads.
