Having a little problem.

On the USCIS site it says our appointments should take place at the Indianapolis, IN field office.

I just called regarding another question, and when asked to put in my zip code the automated service said our appointments will be at another location in Michigan.

Actually that location is closer to us, but its not what the USCIS site said.

Any advice?

pay no attention to any of that.

instead, pay attention to the postal letter containing the interview appointment.

Go where the letter tells you to go.

Good Luck, and GodSpeed !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

So in form I-130 PART C #22, where it asks which office should we just put what it said online?

Then if anything is different when we get feedback from USCIS, then follow what they say?

that's pretty much it, yup.

You can choose the local office on that part of the form, but it's not 100 percent that you'll get the office you are asking for. A Human back at USCIS slots you, but you must fill out that part of Q22 ..

Field Offices and the places where you get biometrics are often different. Are you sure you weren't asking about different things? You can check on uscis.gov for both locations.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Dear Adviser,

I am applying for AOS, through F1 visa, I have 2 questions:

1. I have sent DSP 122 form, where in field 4, ( USCIS office location) i mentioned Houston Field Office to process application.

My question is: is that valid location for AOS processing, because I will send I 485 to Chicago office, and had I need to mention Chicago office or they will forward my I 485 from Chicago to Houston later on.

2. My OPT just started, and will end on 15 June 14. My case no is low for Asia less than xxxx1700, and I guess I can do it before my OPT expiration. still I can extend OPT for 17 more months in 2014 June, but if my I 485 GC case will be pending untill that date, Can I extend my OPT for 17 months (because i have filed for immigrant visa petition, how come they will extend my OPT) or they will???

Thanks,
