How long should my fiancee wait for her packet from the embassy?

We have been waiting for the U.S. Embassy in Manila to send the packet of forms to her in Pangasinan. She stopped her mail at the PO because she doesn't want it to "disappear" but the embassy received our paperwork on May 24th and we are still waiting. How long does this step usually take?

She can wait forever if she's waiting on a packet from the Manila Embassy. My wife never got one. She called and asked about it, and whoever was on the other end of the line, said they no longer send them for K-1s. Still I've heard of some getting them. Go to the embassy's web site and download the required forms and the instructions. Then she can pay the fee, schedule the interview and then get herself over to St Lukes for the medical. If she has issues with the internet where she lives, you can get them for her and email them to her. I did that for my wife, since the internet sometimes works and sometimes doesn't where she lived, but is always slow.

expect no mail from Manila IV , no postal mail, at all, for any packet 3.

I found the forms on the Dept. of State site. I will fill these out and send them along with all of my paperwork to her. Then we will keep praying and hope for the best!
