Hello guys!

I want to seek help regarding the payment of the USCIS immigrant fee online. I followed the step-by-step instructions on the site. I have created an account. But when i tried to put info on ABOUT YOU page, specifically the A-Number, it says "does not contain a valid pattern". I just put the A-Number found on my IDS. I have A plus 8 numbers after it. Do you have the same A plus 8 digit numbers?

I cannot continue with the process since i am having trouble with A number. Please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

am not sure, but usually they're 9 digits (unless if it's a case to case basis).. do u have 0 and typed it in also?

It's ok now. I didnt notice the info on the right side. Its says that if you have less than 9 digits, just add 0 after the A or before the digit numbers. For example you only have A98765, then you need you type it as A000098765 to make it A plus 9 digit numbers.

Yes anyone can do the payment (petitioner or applicant). Just give the pertinent info needed. :-)

Payment has been received and status is still pending.

It's the Alien Registration number that will be assigned to you during the petition process

When will my husband get the A number? After interview?

A number is usually assigned a few days after receiving your NOA1.. they'll update your case and put "alien registration number changed".. you can see that when u check your case status online.. although it won't show the numbers there yet.. maybe in your NOA2 or with the visa packet on ur immigrant data sheet
