So, the CS will work out which vaccines the immigrant has had and hasn't had, right? Or is that a separate appointment to be organised with a general doctor before the medical exam?

The CS will work it out, but they can only do that on the basis of the information you give them. So you need to bring whatever immunization records you have, or be prepared to redo the immunizations or go through blood tests to confirm you've received them.

Some people choose to go to their personal doctor or local health department to get the immunizations they need before going to the appointment with a CS, to save money or because they're more comfortable.

dancin5hr.gif Great news!! We came back with my husband a few days ago from my 2 days CS appointment, my medical package is finally filled out and complete, ready to send! The CS who is originally from India was very nice and comprehensive as he had to go through the same immigration process years ago while it was actually harder (he said). So he questioned my medical past etc, the appointment cost was $200 + as for the vaccines I had to get several done for the cost of about $200 as well. So the total cost $400wow.gif I am so grateful my husband has a good job and we could afford it!!! So my medical package is ready to send to the USCIS office, we just need to check-out everything is fine before sending. The only glitch is my husband is worried of us filing out ourselves now, he wants a lawyer to help us finalizing it. I already went to see one in the past but had to stop in the middle of it cray5ol.gif When I went to see him months ago he looked at our case and my file and didn't say anything more that I already knew by doing my own research... just filling out properly and send to the right office and wait. So I will look on this site and probably make other posts in another category of the forum concerning the forms... Hoping everything will be ok.
